A Brief History
Bernell Hydraulics, Inc. has been in business in the Inland Empire since October 1977 serving many businesses in the area. Founder Terry Jones has over 45 years experience in the hydraulic industry. His daughter, Rhonda Garness, has literally grown up in the business and serves as President. Together their leadership, along with Vice President John Clemons and many other support staff, has built BHI from its modest beginning, to today's thriving business.

Over the years we have expanded our product line and facilities. We currently have three locations in the Inland Empire. Beside our original location here in Rancho Cucamonga, we opened our second location in Riverside in 1998. In January of 2007 we added our location in Colton. Riverside and Colton are ParkerStores, with complete hose and fittings inventories and Colton has an extensive line of rubber products. With this triangle of locations we can service the Inland Empire and beyond with speed and service. We also ship components to anywhere in the world.

Terry Jones
Terry Jones, with over 45 years in the industry, returned to Southern California in 1977 after moving operations from San Leandro. While growing and creating a good reputation in designing, building and servicing high quality power units, presses and commercial compactors in the area, he has also attracted some very talented staff members.
John Clemons
John Clemons came to BHI ten years ago to head our sales staff for Rancho Cucamonga. With his 18 years in the industry he has had extensive training and experience with systems design, troubleshooting, and applications in the mobile and industrial hydraulic industry. John's technical experience has been a valuable plus to our many customers.
Rhonda Garness
Rhonda Garness, being Terry's daughter, has literally grown up in the hydraulic industry at BHI. With her 20 years of experience with the company, she now heads up finance, the administrative offices and the service department. Whenever those breakdowns occur she ensures that the field service or repairs get done to your satisfaction.
